The Cottonwoods is a team of skiers organized annually by Conor Kristensen. Conor has been a member of the National Ability Center since it began in 1985 and he participated in this event as an individual for several years. He did his fundraising through family, friends and his church, Cottonwood Presybterian Church in Salt Lake City. In 1999, he formed a team from members of his church and named it The Cottonwoods. The team has raced in this event every year since, supported by a cheering group of fans who come up to enjoy the day. Go Cottonwoods!

Team Member Stories

The Cottonwoods
I have been racing in the event every year for over 20 years now. It is always lots of fun and I enjoy having my friends and family come up to watch us race. The skiers on our team may change from year to year but we are always competitive. Thanks to everyone who supports the National Ability Center through our team. CONOR KRISTENSEN Go Cottonwoods!
